Sidi-Mohammed Senouci received an engineering degree in computer science from USTO<\/a>, Oran, Algeria, in 1995, and M.S. degree in artificial intelligence in 1999, from the University of Paris 13<\/a>, France. After that, he joined the Network and Performance group in LIP6<\/a> Laboratory, University Pierre and Marie Curie (Paris 6<\/a>), France, where he started his Ph.D. thesis. In October, 2003 Senouci obtained the Ph.D. degree in Computer Science from the University of Paris 6. From 2002 to 2004, he was an associate lecturer (ATER) at the University of Cergy-Pontoise<\/a>, France. In December 2009, he was awarded the \u00abHabilitation \u00e0 Diriger des Recherches\u00bb (HDR) from INP Toulouse<\/a>. From December 2004 to August 2010, he was researcher in Orange Labs <\/a>at Lannion. He was the project leader of different projects dealing with spontaneous and vehicular networks. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

He is currently full professor at ISAT<\/a> (Institut Superieur Automobile et Transport), a major French post-graduate school located in Nevers, France, and component of the University of Burgundy<\/a>. He is also the Director of the laboratory DRIVE<\/a> – EA 1859 and the coordinator of the International master AESM<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Since 1999, he participated or still participates to several national and European-wide research projects. Among them: Horizon Europe SNS JU 6GTWIN<\/a> (2024-2027), European project KDT JU OPEVA <\/a>(2023-2026), projet ANR-FNR 5G-INSIGHT<\/a> (2021-2024), SIMVA<\/a> (2023-2023), COCODICO (2022-2024), Intelligente cimeti\u00e8res (2022-2024),\u00a0ITEA PARFAIT<\/a>\u00a0(2018 \u2013 2021), ITEA<\/a> FUSE-IT<\/a>\u00a0(2014 \u2013 2017), ITEA <\/a>CarCoDe<\/a>\u00a0(2013 \u2013 2015), IRNRT ARESA 2 (2010), FUI-9 Scoref (2010), FP7 FOTsis (2010),\u00a0RNRT MAD GAMES (2007 – 2010), RNRT SAFARI (2003 – 2006), ITEA AMBIENCE (2001 – 2003), RNRT Constellation de Satellites (1999 – 2001), RNRT MAGDA (1998 – 1999) + some PhD CIFRE<\/a> with Orange and SERMA Energy<\/a>.\u00a0His current research interests include\u00a0Intelligent Transportation Systems, Smart Grid, Security,\u00a0Intrusion Detection Systems,\u00a0Optimization,\u00a0Game theory, Performance evaluation. He holds 7 international patents on these topics and published his work in major IEEE conferences (ICC, Globecom, PIMRC, WCNC, NOMS, VTC) and renowned journals.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

As part of his professional activities linked to the computer networking research community, he was co-chair in IEEE ICC2025, FuturMob2018, IEEE ICC\u20192017, IEEE ICC\u20192012, IEEE Globecom 2011, IEEE WCMC2010, IEEE Globecom2010, VehiCom2009 He also acted or still acts as TPC member of different IFIP, ACM or IEEE conferences and workshops. He was the Chair of IEEE ComSoc IIN Technical Committee, TCIIN (2014-2016). He is part of the editorial board of journal of communication and networks (JCN, 2025-2027), IEEE Network Magazine (2020-2021), MDPI Network, and serves as Guest Editor of premium journals, such Adhoc journal, IEEE Network Magazine, IEEE Access, IEEE Vehicular Technology Magazine, Cluster Computing, IEEE AHSN TC Newsletter from 2008 to 2020, and the French journal REE. He also acted or still acts as TPC member of the following IFIP, ACM or IEEE conferences and workshops (ICC, GLOBECOM, PIMRC, GIIS, VTC, WiVeC, MWCN, IWWAN, Wireless Days, WITS, \u2026).\u00a0He chaired the\u00a0IEEE<\/a> <\/a>ComSoc IIN Technical Committee (TCIIN)<\/a>\u00a0from 2014 to 2015.\u00a0He is also a Member of IEEE and the Communications Society, Expert Senior of the French society SEE (Society of Electricity and Electronics) and Member of he expertise committee of the PVF cluster<\/a>.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
